This is known as “The Love Chapter”. This biblical passage is often part of marriage ceremonies. But to me, this chapter does not just apply to love between a man and a woman. I believe it should be understood that this chapter is the result of the commandment given by Jesus “that you love one another as I have loved you.”

I believe it is the will of God that everyone should love his fellowman, and should act toward others as he desires. others to act toward him. Sound like the “Golden Rule”? We’re human - we all have known people we just can’t like. But God loves them. Why can’t we, through prayer for God’s help, find something likeable about these people? If we truly practice the Golden Rule, we will enlarge our circle of friends and perhaps by demonstrating God’s love for them, bring them closer to Christ.

But the jar that he was forming didn’t turn out as he wished, so he kneaded it into a lump and started again. Then the Lord said: “O Israel, can’t I do to you as this potter has done to his clay? As the clay is in the potter’s hand, so are you in my hand.”
