Once when Jesus was praying in private and his disciples were with him, he asked them, “Who do the crowds say I am?” They replied, “Some say John the Baptist; others say Elijah; and
still others, that one of the prophets of long ago has come back to life.” “But what about you?” he asked. “Who do you say I am?” Peter answered. “The Christ, [the Messiah] of God.”

What Jesus means for you determines the path of your life. It means, the way you relate to Jesus, you relate with God and friends. Jesus is defined as a good teacher, a prophet of God, an excellent leader, a friend of all rejected. He also models a good relationship with God and people from different backgrounds. But most important of all, Jesus is God made man, in order to identify with human beings. He was born as a baby, he understands children. As he grew up, when hewas presented in the temple, he kept teaching the rabbis, causing his parents great concern. He understands teenagers. He lived as an adult with all the struggles men and women have. He is powerful to heal and forgive. Then, he walked to his death on the cross. He came to earth to free us from sin, evil and death itself. His blood is over every person who comes with faith unto him. He is salvation. Now, each person can come from desperation to new life by accepting Jesus’ sacrifice on the cross. Do you want to be free now?

DEAR GOD, THANK YOU FOR SENDING JESUS TO MAKE ME FREE. I ASK YOU TO FORGIVE MY SINS. I ASK YOU TO HELP ME TO BELIEVE IN YOU. I RECEIVE ALL YOUR FREEDOM AND NEW OPPORTUNITIES YOU GIVE ME IN MY LIFE. I GIVE YOU MY HAND TO WALK THROUGH THE LIFE WITH YOU; IN JESUS’ NAME. AMEN.
