“To one who knows the right thing to do, and does not do it, to him it is sin.”

The teacher was giving her Sunday School children a lesson on sin. She wanted them to understand the difference between sins of commission and the sins of omission. “Sins
of commission,” the teacher explained, “are the sins we actually do. Does anyone know what sins of omission are?” One little boy responded, “Those are the sins we want to
do, but haven’t gotten around to yet!” The greatest sins of the saints are not the horrible things we do, but rather the good things we fail to do. It is not the commands of God we
fail to obey, but rather the challenges of God we fail to fulfill.

PRECIOUS LORD, HELP ME SEE THE OPPORTUNITIES YOU PLACE IN MY WAY THIS DAY, MAY I NEVER, EVER FAIL TO RECOGNIZE A WORK FOR YOU WHEN IT COMES MY WAY. AMEN.
