“But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another; and the blood of Jesus his Son cleanses us from all sin.”

To have a healthy plant, it must have the proper amount of light. I have a rosebush that gets only late afternoon sunshine. The bush stretches and leans far to the west in an
attempt to obtain all the light it possibly can. Therefore, it is straggly; and one side of the bush is much leafier than the other. I have to periodically trim it back because it leans and
grows over the sidewalk. We are like plants. Without God’s full light we will be stunted and lopsided and wander off course. We must have Him in our lives to be fulfilled and
healthy.

HEAVENLY FATHER, LEAD US TO YOUR LIGHT. WHEN WE ARE TEMPTED TO GO ASTRAY – PULL US BACK FROM THE DARKNESS. AMEN.
