“You are my witness, declares the Lord, and my servant whom I have chosen, so that you may know and believe me and understand that I am he. Before me no god was formed, nor will there be one after me.”

What a responsibility we have been given to live in this earthly suit. It can be scary to think that I have been chosen by God himself to be a witness; to be a servant. I think it can be
overwhelming sometimes if you think that you are not pleasing if you aren’t preaching on the corner of every street and knocking on every person’s door in order to witness. My gift is
not going up to complete strangers to talk about God; I think everyone has been blessed with his or her own unique style. I believe the most important thing to take from this verse is that
God wants each and everyone of us to really know Him and believe in Him. When we do this, everything else will fall into place. Everyone’s background, including mine, has its own set of
baggage that will sometimes get in the way of realizing how awesome God is and how much He truly loves us. It is important to God that we first accept His love and embrace a personal
relationship. Once we do this, we can’t help ourselves in sharing the good news.

FATHER, I COME TO YOU WITH MY ARMS OPEN WIDE AND MY FACE LIFTED UP. THANK YOU FOR LOVING ME UNCONDITIONALLY. HELP ME TO BE A FAITHFUL SERVANT AND LOVING WITNESS. THANK YOU FOR CHOOSING ME. AMEN.
