When the dew was gone, thin flakes like frost on the ground appeared on the desert floor. When the Israelites saw it, they said to each other, “What is it?” For they did not know what it was. Moses said to them, “It is the bread the Lord has given you to eat. This is what the Lord has commanded: Each one is to gather as much as he needs. Take an omer for each person you have in your tent.”

Sometimes it’s really hard for me to know “What it is” that God is feeding me today. This scripture reminds me that God knows what I need and gives me what I need for today. This requires me to be reliant on God, not on myself.

HEAVENLY FATHER, HELP ME TO RELY ON YOU. HELP ME TO REMEMBER THAT EVERYTHING I NEED WILL BE PROVIDED. REMIND ME TO STAY CLOSE TO YOU AS I GO THROUGH TODAY TRYING TO REMEMBER “WHAT IT IS” THAT YOU
HAVE PROVIDED IN MY LIFE TODAY. AMEN.
