“Your kingdom come. Your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.”

Everyone probably recognizes this part of the Lord’s Prayer, but do we think about what it means? For me, this request seems a little scary, yet magnificent. We are asking God to override our wishes and do His will. Sometimes I want to say, “Your will be done, as long as it is at least similar to my will.” I have to remember that God has a special plan for everyone of us and His plans are much greater than any one could imagine.

THANK YOU JESUS FOR THE PLAN YOU HAVE FOR ME, LET YOUR WILL, NOT MINE, BE DONE. AMEN.
