The commandments, “Do not commit adultery,’ ‘Do not murder,’ ‘Do not steal,’ ‘Do not covet,’ and whatever other commandment there may be are summed up in this one rule: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’

We all want to change the world, and our plans towards that end may be grandiose and global. Sometimes, however, changing the world starts with knowing the person who lives next door to you.

DEAR GOD, HELP US TO LOVE OUR NEIGHBORS AND THE PEOPLE WE ENCOUNTER IN OUR EVERYDAY ACTIVITIES. HELP US TO REALIZE THAT FRIENDSHIP TOWARD OUR NEIGHBORS MAKES A GREAT DIFFERENCE IN THE WORLD. AMEN.
