“But to each one of us grace was given according to the measure of Christ’s gift.”

I remember hearing a sermon on grace. The preacher made the statement, “Grace is not the name of the little girl next door.” How marvelous is the concept of God’s grace, freely given to each one of us. We cannot earn it, we cannot buy it, we cannot barter all we have for it. All we can do is accept it, and thank God for it. Which of us can begin to fathom the measure of Christ’s gift for us? Thanks be to God for loving each of us that much!

LOVING FATHER, YOU ARE SUCH AN AWESOME GOD! THANK YOU FOR THE GIFT OF YOUR PRECIOUS SON, AND FOR THE GIFT HE GAVE FOR EACH ONE OF US. LET US STRIVE TO BE WORTHY OF YOUR GIFT. AMEN.
