“Oh, come, Let us sing to the Lord, Give a joyous shout in honor of the Rock of our salvation… Sing a new song to the Lord. Sing it everywhere around the world. Sing out his praises. Bless his name. Each day tell someone that he saves.”

You never know when you are making a lasting impression. As a child growing up, I was taken to church on an off and on basis. I can’t say that any pastor or Sunday School teacher influenced my life. But there was Mr. Dossett. I don’t recall his first name, but Mr. Dossett was the permanent Sunday School Superintendent. It seemed to me as a child that his primary function was to lead the children in singing choruses and he did this well. I therefore had the highest regard for him. Mr. Dossett died many years ago. I’m sorry I never had the opportunity to let him know how much he enriched and blessed my childhood.

GOD OF ALL, WE THANK YOU FOR THE MANY WHO HAVE UNKNOWINGLY BLESSED AND ENRICHED OUR LIVES. LORD, FREE OUR OWN LIVES IN ORDER FOR US TO BE CHANNELS OF BLESSINGS TO OTHERS. AMEN.
