“And lo I am with you always, even to the end of the age.”
Have you ever been alone, lonely? Christians know our heavenly Father, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit are always with us, but we long for the sound of other human voices. The sick and the elderly are many times lonely, even in a crowd. How can we reach out to someone who is alone? Perhaps we can call, or write, or offer a helping hand if needed. They won’t ask. Perhaps now it’s our turn to give of ourselves.
HEAVENLY FATHER, GRANT ME THE WILLINGNESS TO REACH OUT TO SOMEONE WHO IS ALONE. HELP ME TO DO THY WILL, IN JESUS’ NAME. AMEN.
