“I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.”

My mother was small in stature, although I didn’t see her stand on her own after I was seven years old. She had a disabling condition that made her unable to walk, and when I was about thirteen, she lost the ability to talk. I have no idea what she would have wanted to pass on to her only daughter; however, in her school things stored by my grandmother, I found a charm necklace filled with hearts. My aunt explained to me that these had been given to my mother as presents over the years and that each one was different, with the giver’s name on it. She had been given so many that her bracelet became a necklace. With it, she passed on to me all the love she had accumulated from all these people. Momma was small but she had a big necklace.

PRECIOUS FATHER, THANK YOU FOR REMINDING ME THAT I AM NOT ALONE IN MY WALK, THAT OTHERS WALK WITH ME AND HAVE WALKED BEFORE ME TO MAKE MY PATH BETTER. MY PRAYER, LORD, IS THAT MY WALK SHOULD ALWAYS BE IN YOUR WILL. AND MAY YOUR WILL BE DONE. AMEN.
