“For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory that is to be revealed to us.”

As most collectors, I gather what would be considered unflawed, near perfect. However, as I combed a beach in Florida, I discovered the beauty of broken shells. They had been
tumbled by the Gulf waters, trampled underfoot, buried in the sand; but their insides glistened in the sunlight! As my search continued, I even gathered rocks that had been
worn smooth by their journey. I began to think in terms of humanity and how often I had unintentionally rejected someone, not with words, but by my silence and perhaps
a “look”. We are given the opportunity daily to recognize the beauty in others, and by doing so, the beauty of Christ shines through us.

HEAVENLY FATHER, HELP US TO SEE OTHERS THROUGH YOUR EYES.AMEN.
