“The entire law is summed up in a single command: Love your neighbor as yourself.”

In a heated discussion with my partner, I asked why I wasn’t treated with more love. The response was quick and painful to bear. He said, when I criticized, the words I chose were very demeaning. He did not feel like showing love to someone who did not show it in return. This can be a vicious circle of destruction in any relationship. I learned that I should take more care in my choice of words and my expectations. To be loved, one must be lovable.

SAVIOR, THANK YOU FOR THE GIFT OF MY PARTNER. HELP ME TO BE MINDFUL OF MY TEMPER AND MY TONGUE. AMEN.
