After they had gone a long time without food, Paul stood up before them and said: “Men, you should have taken my advice not to sail from Crete; then you would have spared yourselves this damage and loss. But now I urge you to keep up your courage, because not one of you will be lost; only the ship will be destroyed.”
This time I thought I would get it right, I wish I may I wish I might.
But if it’s not part of God’s plan,
Things will dramatically change for reasons we will not understand.
All we can do is hold on and continue to pray
For God to give us the strength to bear the storm and see a brighter day.
When we do this all else will eventually pass
From the prison of our own minds we shall truly be free at last
From the saddest of heartbreak, from the bitterness of tears. We shall smile.
Cause at that moment we will know the truth: We were never alone.
God was there every single step of our longest mile.
PATIENT, LOVING GOD, WE OFTEN FOLLOW OUR OWN DESIRES INTO DANGEROUS WATERS. THANK YOU FOR SAVING US AGAIN AND AGAIN. BLESS US WITH WISDOM TO HEAR AND TO FOLLOW. AMEN.
