“I am the Lord your God; consecrate yourselves and be holy, because I am holy.”

To be holy means that we have become as fine wine through Christ. The process of making wine starts with the crushing of the grapes. This crushing is not easy and for some, as in my case, it has taken longer than most. Through many trials and false starts, I’ve learned that holiness is unobtainable until we first pour out all of who we are so that God, through Christ, can fill us up. Then in that radiant moment we surrender our will and become elements of His holy love fit for the kingdom.

HEAVENLY FATHER, CONSECRATE ME IN YOUR HOLINESS SO THAT I MAY BECOME WHO YOU HAVE CALLED ME TO BE. IN JESUS’ NAME. AMEN.
