“And the prayer offered in faith will make the sick person well; the Lord will raise him up. If he has sinned, he will be forgiven. Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective.”
For me personally, praying for the sick to be healed is very powerful and miraculous; especially when prayer is offered in faith. I believe God grants miracles today just as He
did in the time of Elijah. The Bible tells us that Elijah was a man just like us, nothing has changed since that time. We always seem to wait too long to pray. We only pray when we
are in trouble. We should, however, talk to God when we are happy and give Him all the praise for our happiness. I think we should always remember others first and ourselves
last in our prayers; sometimes this is very difficult to do. One thing I know is that God keeps us all first in His love for us.
O GOD, CONTINUE TO TEACH ME TO PRAY IN A WAY THAT WILL GLORIFY YOUR NAME FOR THE LITTLE TIME THAT I AM LIVING UNDER YOUR CREATION. IN CHRIST JESUS’ NAME, I PRAY IN LOVE. AMEN.
