I start the day off @ my business along with my employees reading the daily passage. it helps us through our work day. we usually come across something during the day that the passage we read has some revelance. it's amazing how it helps us make the right decisions and keeps tempers at bay. I can tell you from personal experience that your devotional not only aided me in my daily walk with the Lord, but it helped many other women who were otherwise lost and on a road to destruction, drug addiction and ultimately prison or death. I have just begun to tap into my work for the Lord and am still trying to understand what I am to do for God's Kindgom but I know it includes writing an inspirational book of how I came to find our Lord Jesus! I need prayer for my son and myself. My son is 21 years old and is being held waiting bond hearing in Lynchburg, VA. I pray that he gets his bond. I miss him so much, as we are very close. I pray that God touches the lawyers and the Judge to keep him out of jail. He is a good kid, he does not need jail, maybe a half way house to get him back on his feet and away from drugs. I would like to ask for Prayer for the ladies at the Guardian Angels transitional home. these are women who were incarcerated, women who needed a clean and sober environment from drugs/alcohol addictions or homeless women in immediate crisis.
We have a need for a van to get the women to work, appointments, interviews etc.. We also have needs for food, toiletries, clothes, copier, shoes, paper goods, office supplies, and mostly permanent homes for the ladies when they finish the program.

At this time, we are working on a Spanish language devotional program. We have become aware that there are many, many immigrants in the United States prisons who speak primarily Spanish, and we have felt led by God to direct our efforts there at this time. We hope, in God's time, that our ministry may reach out in other languages as well. Our church is being led to seek and serve a diversity of people.
